"Four" is the subject for this piece representing numbers, it is in watercolour and graphite. The number four, and it's multiples eight and sixteen, have figured regularly throughout my life but I chose it because it can be represented in more than one form, the Arabic forms also being similar to the Roman. The colour motif is based on Stephen Quiller's colour wheel, from his book "Color Choices" He is an American artist who works in water based media.
